‘Large spacious, comfortable house with lovely gardens’

I was looking for somewhere to rent near my hometown of Dungannon for a family reunion to coincide with my nephew’s wedding. What a great find Cavan View was. It is a large spacious, comfortable house with lovely gardens and a well-equipped games room outside. The kitchen is bright and modern and has all the utensils and crockery you could possibly need. Like the rest of the house the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, bright, spacious and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting the area or alternatively as a great location for anyone wanting to travel around Northern Ireland. It is less than 1 hour from Belfast and very close to the motorway giving easy access to all of Northern Ireland.

— Mr & Mrs C, N. Ireland

‘Wonderful Hosts’

Wonderful hosts, beds so comfortable that you won't want to get out of them! Cavan View has everything there that you could possibly need. It’s warm, cosy, very comfortable, very clean and there’s plenty of space for you to get some alone time should you want it! We cannot rate it highly enough, would stay there again on any visit to Northern Ireland without any hesitation. Andrew and Margaret were more than accommodating with our requests for extra nights and extra time due to work commitments, a lovely couple. We look forward to staying at Cavan View again.

‘Beautifully Restored Farmhouse’

Beautifully restored farmhouse with a mix of old and new. Gracious hosts were so friendly and welcoming that I felt they would always be considered friends. Very clean and well cared for. Perfect spot for sightseeing as it is a mid- point for all Northern Ireland sites. Large kitchen, bedrooms and common areas with all the amenities of home. Definitely recommended!!

‘Carefree Stay’

Perfect owners and staff could not do enough for you, house was perfect and has everything to make your stay hassle free. Would recommend 100%. Thanks for putting trust in us Andrew and Margaret.

‘Great Holiday Destination’

Cavan View Farmhouse is a great holiday destination that has clearly had a lot of time and effort put into it to make it a lovely, warm and welcoming house. From the bright conservatory to the quiet garden, Cavan View is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some time away from home. It's also in a nice central location to many tourist attractions and there are some great coffee shops and pubs in town. Overall, I would recommend staying at Cavan View to anyone and everyone - whether you're looking to go on adventures while sightseeing or looking to sit quietly with a book and a cup of coffee (or tea), Cavan View is the place for you.

‘Great Holiday Staying at Cavan View’

Excellent accommodation, perfect location. Communication with Homeowners is great. Housekeeping is spot on. Welcome snacks basket is a great idea especially for guests like us who took the early morning flight. Will definitely come back to this accommodation in the future. Will recommend to my nearest and dearest.

‘Perfect example of holiday accommodation’

We are a family of 5 with 3 young children and stayed in Cavan View for a few days whilst visiting family. The house is in a perfect location, minutes from the motorway for day trips out but also far enough away to be peaceful. The house has plenty of room to spread out, it was immaculately clean and extremely well kitted out, for the youngest of visitors to the eldest. The owners have made pretty much anything we could think of available in the property for the perfect stay. We have a 1 year old and stair gates, cot and high chair were all provided.

The welcome pack left in the kitchen upon arrival was also a lovely touch.

The amenities available in the house mean that the odd rainy day wouldn't be a concern as there was plenty to keep the kids occupied. We would recommend the property to visitors with limited mobility as well. The property is arranged over 2 floors, but the ground floor contains a large kitchen/dining area, a living room with conservatory as well as a large bedroom with en-suite facilities, making life easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others, the only negative comment being that we had to leave and come home again!

— Mr & Mrs W, Northamptonshire

What a wonderful stay my son and his friends had. Margaret and Andrew are really lovely people to deal with, nothing was too much for them. The property is immaculate and there is a great games room too. I would hope to get a little stay here myself at some point and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

— Mrs M, Northern Ireland

I can't thank Mr. and Mrs. Liversidge enough for all the happiness they have caused for all of my family members.

The Farmhouse is spotless and is much cleaner than many "5 star" hotels. The one who designed the rooms and every corner inside the house is an artist, no doubt in that. We spent most of the time there either in the amazing conservatory or in the colourful garden outside.

It was easy to find it with no effort, none whatsoever. There were signpost cards everywhere in the house just to give us peace of mind, and for the owners to receive fewer enquiring calls from customers.

I contacted them while staying there and after leaving as well, and honestly they were replying within minutes.

All in all it was an unforgettable experience. We will come back for sure. 100% Recommended!

NOTE: I'm not paid to write what I've written up here! It's just the time we had there was so magical!

‘Perfectly equipped to cater for a family or larger number of people’

Myself and my wife had the opportunity to stay at Cavan View during a glorious couple of weeks in the Irish summer. Whilst there were only two of us, the house is perfectly equipped to cater for a family or larger number of people who would be greeted by the tasteful decor and finishing touches that make it feel all the more special!

We had taken time out for some ‘retreat’ and ‘reflection’ time during our sabbatical and, whilst being centrally situated, Cavan View enabled us to find that peace and tranquility we were looking for - as well as being positioned for us to travel north, east and west to explore the beauty of the Irish countryside.

It is our hope to return to Cavan View in the future where we are certain to build upon those memories that we took from our initial visit.

‘A great base for exploring Northern Ireland’

A short flight to Belfast – and transported to a beautiful, calm and welcoming community. Cavan View Farmhouse provided a great base for exploring Northern Ireland.

We found Dungannon interesting; we visited  excellent National Trust properties, enjoyed visiting Lough Neagh and the Antrim Coast as well as a great day out travelling by train to Dublin. It was a pleasure to return ‘home’ to Cavan View to relax in the garden or conservatory. We wish we had had longer as so much to see and do and Cavan View was a super property in which to wind down and relax … we must return.

— Mr & Mrs E, Hertfordshire

‘Very comfortable and well-equipped house’

Good break in peaceful surroundings. Very comfortable and well-equipped house and a good base to explore Belfast and the beautiful coastal route. Easy drive from the airport.

— Mr & Mrs W, Hertfordshire

‘The location is excellent’

We stayed at Cavan View when we visited N Ireland recently and really enjoyed the accommodation offered there.

We particularly liked the large kitchen/diner, where we spent a lot of time not just eating but also entertaining as well. The location is excellent; a couple of miles from the M1, and yet in the heart of the countryside.

Staying in Cavan View is a pleasant experience because it is tastefully decorated but retains a rustic charm. And then … our bed … so comfortable!! Look out Premier Inn!!

— C & L, Northern Ireland

‘An excellent standard of accommodation’

Andrew and Margaret have worked hard to transform their 19th Century Farmhouse into a four-star, self-catering retreat. A four-star award represents an ‘excellent’ standard of accommodation and I have no doubt that guests will enjoy their stay.

— Samantha Corr, Senior Quality Advisor at Tourism Northern Ireland

‘An idyllic stay’

We had an idyllic stay at Cavan View - the accommodation was just what we needed, close to all the places we wanted to visit and with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep.

— Mr & Mrs Smith, Buckinghamshire

‘A fantastic welcome’

Beautiful, homely property, bright and airy with a great space and a fantastic welcome.

— Mary McGee, Project Officer, Mid-Ulster Tourism

‘Ideal for us’

Cavan View is a very comfortable, warm house with all the facilities and we really enjoyed staying there. The self-catering was ideal for us as you aren't confined to times and can do your own thing. Working overnight meant that we needed somewhere quiet during the day and we got great sleep - one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Cavan View is very nearby to local towns and we would certainly recommend to our Company that we stay there again.

— Linda McGouran, Team leader with PMM (Professional Merchandising and Marketing Ireland)

‘Spacious, comfortable and welcoming’

Cavan View Farmhouse is spacious, comfortable and welcoming, we had a fantastic week - large gardens and everything we needed in the house for a family holiday. The location is great for exploring, close to Dungannon and Armagh and all of Northern Ireland's main attractions are within easy reach. Particularly enjoyed the Antrim coast, Belfast and the Mourne Mountains. We intend to return as there is still so much more to see.

— Mr & Mrs L, Hertfordshire, England

‘An Absolute Joy’

It was an absolute joy to stay in Cavan View. Andrew and Margaret kindly accommodated us at such short notice. Perfect hosts!!! We were a family of 5 (including 3 kids) visiting relatives in the Moy area. The house is the perfect mix between traditional and modern with lots of thoughtful touches. Both adults and kids loved exploring the house which has been restored so beautifully. Particularly enjoyed looking back over all the photos of the restoration works and the family history. The recreational room was a great hit with the kids, who thought it was the best house they had ever stayed in!!! I think lots of fabulous farm animal photos won them over!!! A simply beautiful home in a great location for exploring Northern Ireland. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks again Andrew and Margaret.

— Mr & Mrs M, Ireland (Eire)

‘A fantastic week… Christmas and New Year’

We spent a fantastic week at Cavan View between Christmas and New Year! This beautiful house is very comfortable and spotlessly clean with all the home comforts you could want – well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, modern bath & shower rooms and a great games room which the children made full use of. Andrew & Margaret were a pleasure to deal with from the time of booking until the end of our stay, nothing was too much trouble for them and we really appreciated the fact that they put up Christmas decorations for our visit. Cavan View is in a great location for travelling around Northern Ireland. We would recommend it to anyone and we are already planning our next visit!

— Mr & Mrs W, Surrey, England

‘Quiet and Spacious…Loved the Games Room’

It’s not often we stay anywhere that feels as homely as Cavan View did. We stayed over Christmas, 2 families meeting for a festive family reunion. Margaret had decorated the house to certainly feel Christmassy and there was a lovely hamper of yuletide fare. The house is quiet and spacious and the kids absolutely loved the games room. We were fortunate that the weather was dry, so they also made good use of the outside space and gardens. A special mention goes to the beds. Rarely do I stay anywhere and have a decent nights sleep. That certainly isn’t the case at Cavan View. I slept better than I did at home. Or maybe that was down to the mulled wine!
