‘Spacious, comfortable and welcoming’

Cavan View Farmhouse is spacious, comfortable and welcoming, we had a fantastic week - large gardens and everything we needed in the house for a family holiday. The location is great for exploring, close to Dungannon and Armagh and all of Northern Ireland's main attractions are within easy reach. Particularly enjoyed the Antrim coast, Belfast and the Mourne Mountains. We intend to return as there is still so much more to see.

‘Ideal for us’

Cavan View is a very comfortable, warm house with all the facilities and we really enjoyed staying there. The self-catering was ideal for us as you aren't confined to times and can do your own thing. Working overnight meant that we needed somewhere quiet during the day and we got great sleep - one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! Cavan View is very nearby to local towns and we would certainly recommend to our Company that we stay there again.

‘A fantastic welcome’

Beautiful, homely property, bright and airy with a great space and a fantastic welcome.

‘An idyllic stay’

We had an idyllic stay at Cavan View - the accommodation was just what we needed, close to all the places we wanted to visit and with beautiful countryside right on the doorstep.

‘An excellent standard of accommodation’

Andrew and Margaret have worked hard to transform their 19th Century Farmhouse into a four-star, self-catering retreat. A four-star award represents an ‘excellent’ standard of accommodation and I have no doubt that guests will enjoy their stay.

‘The location is excellent’

We stayed at Cavan View when we visited N Ireland recently and really enjoyed the accommodation offered there.

We particularly liked the large kitchen/diner, where we spent a lot of time not just eating but also entertaining as well. The location is excellent; a couple of miles from the M1, and yet in the heart of the countryside.

Staying in Cavan View is a pleasant experience because it is tastefully decorated but retains a rustic charm. And then … our bed … so comfortable!! Look out Premier Inn!!

— C & L, Northern Ireland

‘Very comfortable and well-equipped house’

Good break in peaceful surroundings. Very comfortable and well-equipped house and a good base to explore Belfast and the beautiful coastal route. Easy drive from the airport.

— Mr and Mrs. W, Hertfordshire

‘A great base for exploring Northern Ireland’

A short flight to Belfast – and transported to a beautiful, calm and welcoming community. Cavan View Farmhouse provided a great base for exploring Northern Ireland.

We found Dungannon interesting; we visited  excellent National Trust properties, enjoyed visiting Lough Neagh and the Antrim Coast as well as a great day out travelling by train to Dublin. It was a pleasure to return ‘home’ to Cavan View to relax in the garden or conservatory. We wish we had had longer as so much to see and do and Cavan View was a super property in which to wind down and relax … we must return.

‘Perfectly equipped to cater for a family or larger number of people’

Myself and my wife had the opportunity to stay at Cavan View during a glorious couple of weeks in the Irish summer. Whilst there were only two of us, the house is perfectly equipped to cater for a family or larger number of people who would be greeted by the tasteful decor and finishing touches that make it feel all the more special!

We had taken time out for some ‘retreat’ and ‘reflection’ time during our sabbatical and, whilst being centrally situated, Cavan View enabled us to find that peace and tranquility we were looking for - as well as being positioned for us to travel north, east and west to explore the beauty of the Irish countryside.

It is our hope to return to Cavan View in the future where we are certain to build upon those memories that we took from our initial visit.
